Enforcing Covenants - Options and Procedures

In addition to making sure the community has adequate funding to cover the association’s expenses, one of the most important functions of the Board of Directors is to ensure the community’s covenants are being enforced.  Most homeowners purchase a home in a covenanted community because of the governing documents and expect that the standards as described therein will be enforced.  Coulter and Sierra explain enforcement options here.
